Light and Refreshing Chateau

The Comstock home, previously completed before this modern dwelling went up, served as the foundation for the architectural direction we took on both the exterior look, featuring yet again the iconic large arched window in the front, and in the floor plan. That is however where the similarities end as we chose a much lighter yet bold color palette drawing inspiration from the canyons of the southwest and the jewel-toned greens and blues of certain natural stones. We grounded this boldness with elegant dark gray herringbone pattern floor tile on the main level and blonde colored wood, used in the cabinetry throughout and for upstairs flooring. The boldness with the use of color in this home, all be it a little risky as a spec, definitely paid off giving this home added depth and character recognized by all who walked through it.
